Nigel Griffin

Director

Renya Xydis, Beverly C and John Donato – Nigel has worked with some of the biggest names in hairdressing.

He opened Sheer Hair after five years working along side Yasmain Harland of Cision Hair in West Perth.

Nigel’s career began in London sixteen years ago at Vidal Sassoon’s Bond Street salon. Having experienced London’s West End, Nigel travelled and worked in Los Angeles, Toronto and Sydney.

He has learned from and worked with some of the most exciting stylists in the industry. In London he trained and worked with the highly creative Beverly C.

In the US Nigel worked for hairdressing entrepreneur John Donato, who won the Editorial Stylist for the 2008 North American Hairstyling.

Working with sensational Sydney style leader Renya Xydis of Valonz has also been a significant influence shaping Nigel’s vision for Sheer Hair.

Nigel’s own styling work has featured in numerous Sydney fashion shows and been showcased in Vogue, Harpers and Marie Claire.

Amelia

Senior Stylist/Colourist

Amelia trained at Melbourne’s highly regarded Shibui on Toorak Road in South Yarra.

She specialises in wearable cuts and natural colours for clients wanting a stunning low maintenance result.

She is passionate about editorial and photo session styling.  Her experiences include back stage work at Sydney Fashion Week and Melbourne Fashion Festival.

Favouring soft textures and specialising in cutting to suit natural textures and colour correction you can feel very confident that Amelia’s colour consulting is precise and stylish.

Jamie

Senior Stylist

Jamie has worked in the industry for seven years and trained with Toni & Guy.

Recently she was nominated as the Western Australian representative for Schwarzkopf Photoflash National Competition.

Jamie’s work has also also been featured on the covers of STM and Scoop magazines.

Through her hard work and dedication to the industry Jamie has emerged as a talented men’s and ladies stylist with a loyal clientele.

Alysha

Stylist

Alysha is a gifted hair stylist specialising in cutting and the art of dressing hair.

Trained by Yasmain from Cision Hair Alysha has already had her work showcased in Scoop magazine and STM as well as many hair shows and photo shoots.
